Nigel is Programme Director BSc Business Enterprise at the University of Buckingham in UK, where he teaches, supports and mentors students taking the innovative two year (8 term) honours degree in Business Enterprise.
According to Researchers at Chalmers University in Gothenburg, this is one of only 3 similar university honours degree programmes in the world which offers undergraduate students the opportunity to study for their degree in Business Enterprise, whilst also starting and developing their own business, having "pitched" for "seed-corn" capital from "Buckingham Angels". These are referred to as university Venture Creation Programmes.
As well as running the BSc Business Enterprise (BBE) programme, Nigel also teaches Entrepreneurship and International Marketing Management to undergraduates and also mentors BBE students at the University of Buckingham.
Until May 2011 Nigel was also Managing Director of Nigel Adams & Company Ltd, which provided business, management, international marketing, recruitment and other support and advice to the boards of British companies to help them to establish operations and improve their sales and profitability in Central and Eastern Europe. See "Archive" link above for more information.
Having more than 35 years international business experience, Nigel has an extensive network of business, finance and diplomatic contacts.
Nigel is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Marketer. He helped to establish in Poland, the first officially recognised branch of Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in Continental Europe. For many years Nigel was the Vice Chairman of the CIM East Midlands Regional Board, he continues to be a member of the Regional Board and he is also the Treasurer of the Northamptonshire Branch of the CIM.
At long last I have arranged for my website to be updated and I hope you agree that Oliver Loftus has done a great job.
I think that the new design is much easier to navigate, but the site still retains, in the "Archive", all the information from my old Nigel Adams & Company Ltd website.
I plan to keep blogging, probably too irregularly, but at least my Twitter Feed will be regularly updated.
Please have a look around and let me know what you think about the website and how I could improve it for students, colleagues and other visitors.
